CAROLE BUCKLEY – has enjoyed team sports and personal fitness since high school. Her favorite activities include spinning, Pilates, lacrosse, and cross fit. Carole became an indoor cycling instructor 14 years ago in order to stay at home with her 3 children. She has made a career in the fitness industry by teaching spinning, Pilates, and boot camp style classes. She is also a nationally certified personal trainer. Carole is married to a fellow spin instructor. Spinning is a way of life for the Buckley household. Carole is focused on providing a workout that will challenge your body as well as your mind. Carole loves the intense type of cardio spin has to offer and her level of enthusiasm will challenge you to work beyond your expectations. SHANNON BECKER - Shannon is a high school English teacher at Shawsheen Valley Technical High School. She played volleyball at Bates College and coached at Shawsheen for 12 years. Having 2 little girls stalled Shannon’s coaching career on the volleyball court, but created a new passion for Spinning. She has been Spinning certified for the last 18 months and runs bi-weekly Spinning sessions at Shawsheen for colleagues and adventurous students. Shannon is excited to be a part of Hub City’s team and looks forward to challenging you in the studio!
JILL DUFFY – A former health care provider rep, JILL brings YEARS of experience to Hub City. Holds certifications in Primary Group Fitness, TRX, Cycle, Kickboxing, Body Pump and Group power. Has been instructing at the corporate headquarters at Boston Globe, Dunkin Donuts, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and FM Global.
CHRISTINE MACKIE - I have been a certified personal trainer for the past 10 years. I am certified by the NCSF and also hold a BS in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Boston with a minor in math. My other fitness certifications include: Crossfit Level One Coach, Certified Nutritionist, spinning, core board, physioball, and Reiki I therapy. In additional to personal training, I instruct Crossfit classes consisting of adults and children’s classes ages 5-8 and 9-13 and spin as well. My passion for training and teaching lie in helping each client individually set and reach his or her goals. It is very important to me that I meet each clients personal needs.
TRACI KELLEY – I have been Cycle & group fitness instructor for the past 7 years. AFAA certified. I have two children ages 13 and 14. I am very excited to be a part of this amazing studio and team of instructors. I look forward to seeing many new faces in my class. I LOVE music (should have been a DJ) and use a variety of music including top 40, techno, classic rock and even disco. I have TONS OF ENERGY to share with other indoor cycling enthusiasts!
CHRISTINE CAREY – Christine has an eclectic & diverse background of hatha yoga, pranayama, yoga philosophy, prenatal yoga, power mat pilates and BARRE. Her exuberant spirit and sparkling personality makes her uniquely qualified to inspire & motivate people of all ages & fitness levels while improving their core strength, muscle-shape, flexibility and form alignment. She developed a passion for meditative & focus based fitness after a challenging health condition led her to seek alternative treatments for her body.
