Joe graduated from Assumption College with a BA in Biology concentrating in exercise physiology. After playing four years of soccer and leading his team as captain, Joe went on to pursue a career in physical therapy at Braintree Rehabilitation Hospital while coaching and training athletes. Soon after, Joe began working under the tutelage of Brian McDonough at Edge Performance Systems in Foxboro, MA. After spending 4 years working with athletes at the high school, college, and professional level, Joe founded the Hub City Cycle & Training and where he continues to develop Massachusetts’ top athletes. C. Taylor: is a graduate student at Bridgewater State University studying Exercise Physiology & Strength and Conditioning. She has been a fitness instructor for roughly 5 years teaching indoor cycling, muscle conditioning, and cardiovascular aerobic classes. She has trained and created programs for triathletes, marathon runners, cyclist, bodybuilders, basketball players, and the everyday physically active person. Prior to this, she spent 3 years as a Project Engineer with her B.S. in Civil Engineering. She is AFAA and Mad Dogg Spin certified and currently obtaining her NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, ACSM Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist, and Keiser certifications.
CHRISTINE MACKIE –
A true veteran in the fitness industry. A CPT for over 10 years, certified by the NCSF and also holds a BS in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Boston with a minor in math. Other fitness certifications include: Crossfit Level One Coach, Certified Nutritionist, spinning, core board, physioball, and Reiki I therapy. Experienced in group training, personal training, program design, fitness & nutrition consulting for all ages and fitness levels.
